Bright, grassy, and distinctly Abruzzese. Cold pressed at harvest to preserve polyphenols and true varietal character. A finishing oil worthy of great food.

What a wonderful surprise it was to taste this olive oil. Immediately, when I opened the bottle, I was able to smell the grass and flowers of place where the olives grew. It was like walking in a field. The taste of the olive oil was really soft at first, but then delivered a peppery aftertaste.
So far, I've used it on salads, and the oil mixed with lemon and lime makes for a wonderful dressing. I have also used it in my baking as a replacement basic vegetable oil and where I can do without butter.
I look forward to making a bruschetta and finding more ways to use this special product. Wonderful!

I’m a wine snob. I can talk tannins, terroir, and barrel programs all day. But when it came to olive oil, I always assumed the high‑end bottles were basically interchangeable, pleasant, sure, but not meaningfully different. I used to believe that all high‑end olive oils are essentially the same. With the flood of “premium” oils whose origins are more marketing than truth, I used to believe that there couldn’t be a difference.

That belief held firm until they tried this olive oil.

The aroma alone made me pause. It’s vibrant, green, and unmistakably fresh, the same way a great wine announces itself before the first sip. And the taste is layered, clean, and alive, with a clarity that makes you realize how muted most “premium” oils really are. There’s a beautiful balance of grassy brightness, subtle bitterness, and a peppery finish that feels intentional rather than aggressive.

This is the olive‑oil equivalent of discovering your first truly great wine, the moment you realize quality isn’t just marketing; it’s craftsmanship. I never thought I’d say this, but this bottle proves high‑end olive oils aren't all the same. With the flood of “premium” oils whose origins are more marketing than fact, you can trust this one. The Arquilla family would not put their name on it otherwise.

The craftsmanship is evident, the sourcing is real, and the flavor is outstanding. I highly recommend this oil.

PS: My wife is a chef; she guards this bottle for a good reason. Liquid gold.
